SS Rajamouli’s Eega continues to set new records even today. The satellite rights of the Hindi version of ‘Eega’, ‘Makkhi’ reportedly fetched a whopping Rs 8 Crores! This is a bumper amount for a dubbed Telugu film in Bollywood. Easily 20 times more time any other dubbed Telugu film. Makkhi recently released in Bollywood but could not make much impact at the Bollywood box office.
This will only help the ‘Rajamouli’ brand increase in Bollywood which will help his next movie with Prabhas very much. The movie is reportedly the biggest budget movie in Telugu film industry and Rajamouli is depending up on exploiting the other movie markets to make the project commercially feasible.
