Even He Beats the Superstar!

Gone are the days of the stardom, nowadays content is the hero of the film and the deciding factor of the success. As a fresh example, we can look at Zero, staring the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan who has the capability of drawing crowds to the shows just to see him. Now a no star hero from South beat SRK with unexpected collections.

Yash’s periodic thriller, KGF won the hearts of the audience showering collections at the box office badly pushing SRK’s Zero to the gutter and standing strong at the theaters with the film screened in just half as that of the superstar’s film. To be precise, KGF was released on about 2460 screens and Zero is using 4380 screens and yet is making peanuts compared to the range of the star hero.

Both the films released on the same day and Yash with way lesser stardom compared to that of SRK has bagged 59.70 crores with KGF while Zero gained 59.07 crores in three days. That is a huge victory for the Kannada film and the star to win over a star like SRK.
