Exclusive: Pooja Hegde Opposite Yash

Pooja Hegde is one of the sought after actresses in Telugu cinema now. The actress recently entered Tamil industry with Vijay’s Beast. Latest news is that she might venture into Kannada cinema with a Yash starrer.

After the blockbuster KGF 2, Yash will apparently collaborate with Kannada director named Narthan, who previously directed Mufti. This film will either be produced by Yash himself, or KVN Productions, who recently distributed RRR in Karnataka.

The makers of the Yash starrer are now said to be in talks with Pooja Hegde for the female lead role. The actress is said to be excited about the collaboration but she is yet to sign the dotted line.

On a related note, Pooja is also in pole position to pair with Suriya for a Tamil film. She is in talks with the makers of this film as well.

Amidst all this, there have been rumors that Pooja has opted out of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s SSMB28 due to dates issue. But when we caught up with Pooja’s team, they replied “Dates issue is there but she is very interested and will adjust the dates whenever the movie starts.”
