F3 On Closure To Call It A Wrap

Anil Ravipudi‘s F3 went on floors long back. However, the sequel got many hiccups due to COVID as the shoot got stalled many times. But things are on track for the unit as the shoot is in the last leg.

The team is done with the 15-days climax portions recently. And they are left with only two more sequences to get canned. Once these two are done, it’s a wrap for F3. The filmmaker has retained the original cast of F2 in the sequel in addition to new faces.

It is worth mentioning that F3 was announced for the coming January as it banked on the Sankranthi sentiment. But a new date was announced after seeing a rush of many films in the lineup for the festive race.

Subsequently, the film will have a theatrical release on February 25, 2022. Although it moved away from the festive race, F3 got the best slot as it faces competition from none. Thus Dil Raju played safe. Interestingly, the release will mark Venkatesh Daggubati’s first film to have a theatrical release after Narappa and Drushyam 2 which went in a direct OTT way.
