Failing serving notice, arrest warrant for RGV?

RGV getting himself into legal hassles just by means of his twitter comments has become like an everyday affair. His comments on ‘Dera baba’, self-proclaimed religious head has invited the wrath of Dera’s followers. A police case was filed against the film maker on RGV by Dera’s followers. But the notices weren’t served to RGV as he wasn’t living in Mumbai anymore.

So legal proceedings are going on to issue arrest warrant on RGV for calling Dera Baba aka Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ‘Shaitan’. Main complaints on RGV include objectionable and derogatory comments on one of the most controversial religious head and his film. Interestingly one of the sections under which he was booked would be null and void as Supreme Court has struck down the section 66(A) of IT act.

But RGV can be still be held under IPC Section 298 (uttering words hurting religious sentiments). An FIR has been lodged on the film maker under the above mentioned section and soon warrant might follow leading to the arrest.
