Falling in love with Tollywood :Karthi

While actor Suriya made his Bollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakht Charitra, his brother Karthi says that he is not interested to enter the Hindi film industry anytime soon. He says he is busy in Kollywood and wants to concentrate his career working down south.

In fact, Karthi has also been offered several Bollywood projects but he denied them all since he doesn’t know the language well. He said that while he was working as an assistant director with Mani Ratnam, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had offers for him but he turned them down. He is headstrong about his career and added that he is happier doing Tamil films.

However, Karthi said that he may be interested to do a Telugu film before entering Bollywood, if the right script comes his way. He said he has received several offers in Telugu as well but said that nothing excited him much.
