It is only on very rare occasions that something like this happens, when a star genuinely, in the flow, go ahead and say something that they would otherwise not. At the audio launch function of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s new film Srimanthudu one witnessed such a scene.

Mahesh Babu as expected was met with a humongous and nonstop cheer when he was ready to speak. There were loud cheers asking him to specifically talk about records which the star politely declined saying that he had never said such things before and don’t force to say anything like that now. Continuing that emotional flow which obviously stemmed from the recent past disappointments from him, Superstar said sorry to the fans.
Mahesh Babu said that he had disappointed the fans and promised that he wouldn’t let that happen again. One could go as back as his ‘Vamsi’ movie to see similar kind of sentiments expressed by the star. This ‘sorry’ however has hurt the fans, it is not directed towards the star but towards the director. They feel that it is director Srinu Vytla who is responsible for their favorite star feeling that way.
One can surely feel justified by what might have transpired the star to say so but is it right on the part of the fans to direct it towards Srinu Vytla? Guess, we all know the answer here, don’t we?
