At Sarathi Studios and Annapurna 7 Acres, the filming of Shankar’s directed movie Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, will resume today and last for eight days.
According to reports, Hit franchise director Sailesh Kolanu shot the second unit portions last week with Raghu Babu and Rocket Raghava. This news has rattled some Mega fans, and they are venting their anger on social media.
Fans are questioning that how can a big director like Shankar allow some other director, who isn’t his assistant, to shoot the film. Has Dil Raju given up on Shankar and taken the project into his own hands? Has Shankar meekly accepted that he cannot complete Game Changer as he is busy shooting Indian 2? Fans are worried that Shankar’s style of direction is way different than that of a local Telugu director, and the film will lose its natural flow of narration.
However, fans must realize that it is natural that almost all movies have a second unit director who shoots the movie under the makers’ supervision. Since Shankar is caught in a rare scenario of juggling between Indian 2 and Game Changer, this step taken by the makers isn’t that shocking or unexpected. Fans are looking too much into the issue, and they themselves are creating a negative perception of the film.
