Finally The Big Weekend Arrives For Tollywood

No Telugu film post Major and Vikram could go big at the box office. The Warriorr, RamaRao On Duty, Thank You, and other films which released recently turned out to be duds at the box office.

Cut to now, Bimbisara and Sita Ramam which released in theaters today are witnessing good action at the Telugu box office.

Both Bimbisara and Sita Ramam have opened to decent word of mouth. They have evoked a fair bit of interest from the Telugu audience and are pulling them to theaters in sizeable numbers.

As per the early reports, the openings are pretty good for Bimbisara, which has some mass appeal. Sita Ramam is on course to post decent numbers as well.

Sita Ramam’s theatrical rights are valued at Rs 14 crores while Bimbisara has done Rs 16.5 crores business. Both these films are the costliest projects in Dulquer and Kalyan Ram’s careers respectively.

The start is a bright one for both these films but the challenge will be carry forward the momentum over the next couple of weekends and make it big at the box office.
