Tamil Industry’s First in 14 Years!

Back in 2010, Tamil Cinema witnessed the release of four top-tier heroes’ films in theaters.

Rajinikanth’s Endhiran, Kamal Haasan’s Manmadan Ambu, Vijay’s Sura, and Ajith’s Aasal were all released within the same calendar year.

However, since then, these top four heroes haven’t seen simultaneous releases in the same year.

But now, in 2024, that remarkable feat is set to repeat.

Kamal Haasan is gearing up to unveil the much-anticipated sequel Indian 2 in June also starring Siddharth, Rakul Preet, and Kajal.

Vijay is poised to present his sci-fi thriller, The Greatest Of All Time, directed by Venkat Prabhu. Scheduled for release on September 5, the film sees Vijay in a dual role, promising an exhilarating cinematic experience.

Meanwhile, Ajith’s action-packed thriller, Vidaa Muyarchi, helmed by Magizh Thirumeni of “Thadam” fame, is on the horizon. With a star-studded cast including Trisha, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra, anticipation runs high for this promising project.

Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan slated for a theatrical release in October 2024, is an action-packed drama penned and directed by T. J. Gnanavel, known for Jai Bhim. Featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Fahadh Faasil, this film promises an electrifying spectacle.

In 2010, Rajinikanth emerged victorious with Endhiran which became an all-time blockbuster, overshadowing other star-hero films that suffered dismal fates at the box office.

As history repeats itself, it’s an exciting scenario to witness who will emerge triumphant this time around.
