At a time when there is a trend of Tollywood beauties like Ileana, Kajal, Tamanna etc drifting to the Hindi film industry, there are a few Bollywood actresses who are coming to try their luck in the Telugu cinema. While several Tollywood films are being remade into Bollywood films, the filmmakers in the Telugu film industry are looking forward to working with these new actresses specifically these three actresses — Adah Sharma, Vaani Kapoor and Sonal Chauhan.
Vaani Kapoor, who has not made a screen debut as yet, is being cast in the lead role along with Nani for the Tamil and Telugu remake of the blockbuster Bollywood film ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ which featured actors Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh. Actress Sonal Chauhan, who starred in the Tollywood movie ‘Rainbow’, a romantic comedy released in the year 2008, will be lead actress in a Nandamuri Balakrishna film (not official yet). Another actress to migrate from Bollywood to Tollywood is Adah Sharma will appear in ‘Heart Attack’ opposite Nithiin, directed by Puri Jagan.
