From replacing Rajnikanth with ‘Killer’ to Amma

Director Faisal Saif is otherwise not a very popular name if not for his Bollywood movie ‘Main Hoon Rajnikanth’. But we know, Rajnikanth fought in court for the change of the title and got the film’s release stalled. The makers of the movie had to replace Rajnikanth’s name in the title of the film.

After a legal battle, the makers struck a compromise with the superstar and finally changed the name to ‘Main Hoon (Part Time) Killer’. Rajinikanth got lot of support from the court which gave interim orders to stop he movie’s release until the makers budged to the superstar. After much delay, the film is going for a theatrical release on 24th April.

The film maker of this movie has moved on from this controversial project long back and is presently busy with his next project titled ‘Amma’. As the movie title suggests, the story is a biopic on AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha which would be released in five differentt languages including Hindi. Going by the protagonist (Jayalalitha) the film maker chose, many can see many more controversies waiting for him in future.
