Fully-Packed April For Tollywood

After a satisfactory first quarter of 2023 with quite a few successes, the second quarter starts in April with another slate of intriguing new star-studded films.

April starts with Ravi Teja‘s thriller Ravanasura releasing on April 7th. Kiran Abbavaram’s Meter and AR Murugadoss’s 1947 are also releasing on the same date.

Samantha‘s much-awaited mythological drama, Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar is due to release on April 14th after a lot of postponements. Raghava Lawrence’s Rudhrudu (dubbed) is also aiming for the same date.

Sai Dharam Tej’s promising horror thriller Virupaksha is coming on April 21st and will clash with Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Bellamkonda Ganesh will try his luck for the second time with Nenu Student Sir also releasing on the same date. ‘Hello Meera’ starring Gargeyi Yallapragada is a film with only one single character and is also releasing on 21st April.

The last Friday is going to be the most exciting one as Akhil’s most awaited spy thriller Agent and Maniratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 2 will clash on April 28th.

Out of these, there are some talks in the industry that Nenu Student Sir and Agent might get postponed.

It is going to be an exciting and packed April for Tollywood.
