Future bleak for Hyd Commercial Real Estate

The half-yearly report by property consultant firm, Cushman & Wakefield presents a disappointing picture of the commercial real estate in Hyderabad. The total supply in the first 6 months of the year fall drastically.

Hyderabad had witnessed a supply of 1.5 million square feet which is only 59 percentage of the total supply in the first half of 2014. Madhapur and Gachibowli contributed to maximum leasing in the city.

They contribute nearly 76 per cent in the first half of 2015 indicating steady demand from IT-ITeS sector. But the over all leasing witnessed 8.5 percent decline from last year. In the remaining areas, the commercial real estate took a severe beating with demand and supply falling.
