Gangubai Kathiawadi’s OTT Release Date Is Here

Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatts Gangubai Kathiawadi hit the big screens on the 25th of this month. The film opened to decent reviews and it had even grossed over Rs 100 crores at the global box office.

The latest news is that Gangubai Kathiawadi is set for its OTT premieres in the last week of April. The film is likely to arrive on Netflix towards the end of April. The OTT premieres date will be announced in the due course.

The Alia Bhatt starter is set to arrive on OTT 8 weeks post its theatrical release, which is slightly on the higher side, given that many Indian biggies are landing on OTT 4-6 weeks post theatrical release.

Alia will next be seen in RRR which will be her maiden pan-India biggie. The film will release in theatres worldwide on the 25th of this month. If RRR becomes a blockbuster success and Alia impresses the wider section of the audience with her performance in the Rajamouli directorial, it will ultimately hype up Gangubai’s OTT release.

The biographical drama is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Alia was widely applauded for her performance in the film, following its theatrical release.
