GHMC issue notices to AP Secretariat!

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) had issued notices to Andhra Pradesh Secretariat to pay the pending property taxes. GHMC urged AP government to pay the pending 22 Crore taxes immediately.

Incidentally, this comes after a day, AP Minister Achennaidu alleged that GHMC Commissioner is refusing permission for Chandrababu Naidu’s house in Hyderabad and is absurding asking to clear property tax of Secretariat for the building permission.

There is a rule that property tax should be paid by the owners in this case Telangana government. AP government can only use these buildings for a period of 10 years. If AP gets to pay property tax for 10 years, according to the law, they will also get the right to sell those properties.
