The makers of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s Guntur Kaaram have started the musical promotions as they have dropped the first single from the album.
The song is titled Dum Masala, and as it suggests, Thaman has delivered a massy hero introduction number. There isn’t his usual drum-heavy music but there is enough electronic music to make for a massy number.
The first impression is that the song might not be an instant chartbuster but it does have the desired potential to grow on the listeners.
The lyrics imply that there will be a handful of elevation blocks featuring the main man, Mahesh Babu in the song when it plays in theaters from 12 January. The spice rap lyrics are written by Trivikram himself.
The real deal is Mahesh’s mass presentation in the lyrical video. This is the kind of unwavering mass presentation fans were waiting for and Trivikram appears to have done the job this time around.
As in the case of the posters, we see extensive shots of Mahesh smoking beedi and there are many mass shots, including that of him in a lungi, and also him unbuttoning his shirt towards the end.
Guntur Kaaram is set for release on the 12th of January and the mass actioner comes with the advantage of being the only superstar film releasing this Sankranthi season.
