In the Global Top 10 list, Guntur Kaaram holds the impressive 6th spot, with 5.3 million hours viewed and 2 million views. What’s even more surprising is the Hindi version’s performance.
The Hindi version of Guntur Kaaram is trending at number 10, with 2.8 million hours viewed and 1.1 million views. This indicates a significant interest from North Indian audiences, regardless of the earlier reviews.
Telugu films have gained immense popularity, with even non-pan-India films finding success on OTT platforms in Hindi versions. Hi Nanna was a recent example, and now Guntur Kaaram is following suit.
The upcoming collaboration between Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli for a global movie could be another reason why Hindi audiences are drawn to Guntur Kaaram on OTT.
The Hindi dubbing is also commendable, giving viewers the experience of watching a straight Hindi film rather than a dubbed one.
