Hansika is currently working on a Tamil film called Aranmani, which will simultaneously be released in Telugu as well. The Telugu title is yet to be decided. Apparently, the film will feature more than one hour of computer graphics imagery and it is touted to be best in recent times in the industry.
Known for churning successful comedies over the years, director Sundar C is attempting the horror genre for the first time. A big castle plays an important role in the film and Sundar says they spent over Rs. 3 crore to construct it. The team searched for a real castle for several months and since they were running out of time, they opted for constructing one involving 400 workers over a span of 4 months.
The film also features an ensemble cast of Santhanam, Hansika Motwani, Lakshmi Rai, Andrea Jeremiah, Kovai Sarla and Thambi Ramaiah in important roles. Sundar, who has starred in few films, will be seen in a cameo in “Aranmanai”, which is slated for release in June.
