Hanuman has wrapped up its opening week run at the Hindi box office on a very bright note with Rs 22 crore nett reported in the first week. This is a pretty good number for a South film without a franchise advantage.
The film collected Rs 2 crore nett on Thursday which is equal to its opening day collection which means that the film is maintaining an excellent hold. This is a strong indication that the film is set for a good run over the next few weeks. If it can hold its own in the second weekend, then it could do a world of good.
If the film can touch the double-digit mark in the second weekend, then there is a good chance it could head towards the Rs 100 crore nett mark. This will be a huge deal.
The strong hold in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Central India is of great help for HanuMan. The masses are attracted by the lord-Hanuman image of the film and it is helping in the mass belts.
HanuMan has started the pan Indian box office for Tollywood on a very bright note and sets the stage for what is to come.
