Heart Attack spoils the party

Nithin starrer Heart attack which released on the Friday gone by has turned out to be a party spoiler for a couple of films. The film directed by Puri Jagannadh was coming off a successful steak of hero Nithin. And thanks to that streak, Heart Attack despite is ordinary word of mouth is faring very well at the box office. The film has reportedly turned out to be a major opener in the career of Nithin.

What it has done in the process is it has affected the run two films. The films in question are Ram Charan starrer Yevadu and the Manchu multi-starrer Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda. While Yevadu was expected to have another good weekend at the box office, Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda which released on the same day as Heart Attack opened with much better talk. However thanks to Heart Attack, the weekend of Yevadu was below par and the opening of the Manchu multi-starrer despite good word of mouth was poor.

While it looks like an end of the road of Yevadu, we have to see if Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda picks up in the coming days or not. Meanwhile Heart Attack has sustained moderately on the first Monday and is looking at decent collections for the rest of the week.
