Only yesterday, we were talking about how the box office for the next couple of weeks would be at the lowest. There are no exciting films to look forward, which could result in full houses.
The situation, in general, would be extremely beneficial for Natural Star Nani and Sudheer Babu’s multistarrer V. it is similar to the late last year releases Venky Mama and Prati Roju Pandage. Those movies had come after a far longer dull period.
However, there is one key difference here, and that is putting the spotlight on V. There is a tremendous curiosity on it now. It is the Corona Virus effect.
In Hindi, the biggie Baaghi 3 starring Tiger Shroff is facing rough time at the box office partly due to the Corona Virus scare. It is resulting in a couple of notable films moving their dates ahead. In Telugu, V will be facing a similar situation.
V will be the first big release after a gap, and it will also be the first to arrive under the Corona Virus threat. Everyone will be waiting to see how the movie fares in this condition. If it’s on par with the trade expectations (in the Telugu states and the US), TFI’s rest of the summer season will progress as scheduled. In case, an effect is felt, there is bound to be a little repercussion. Let’s wait and see how things pan out for V.
Dil Raju produces V whereas Mohan Krishna Indraganti directs it. Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari are the female leads. Amit Trivedi provides the music. V will hit the screens worldwide on March 25thon the occasion of Ugadi.
