Highest Donation to Kerala Is Not from a Top Star

Donations are raining from the film industry celebrities to aid in the flood relief measures in Kerala. Several top stars from Telugu Film Industry and Tamil Film Industry had donated several lakhs and the highest being Rs. 70 lakhs by top stars. Now, Raghava Lawrence came up with the highest donation.

The actor turned director announced that he would be meeting the Kerala CM on Saturday and will be donating Rs. 1 crore for Kerala relief activities besides voluntarily taking up the relief activities by reaching out to the people, over there. According to his press note, he has been waiting for the rains to stop so that he can go directly to the people of Kerala and extend his helping hand.

Raghava Lawrence is known for his charity work and this announcement came as no surprise as he will always be the first among the celebrities to give away maximum support to the ailing. Kerala needs a lot of financial aid and also volunteers from both government and non-government organizations and individuals for the reconstruction after the horrifying disaster.
