Earlier, it was estimated that Adipurush might be collecting in the range of Rs 20 crores nett on its opening day in the Hindi belt. But after the surge in hype before release, it was pushed to Rs 30 crores.
However, the film has clearly crossed expectations as it continued to witness good growth in the Hindi belt.
As per the latest box office reports, Adipurush is very much on course to open with over Rs 40 crores nett at the Hindi box office. The film could be collecting in upward of Rs 42-44 crore as well, given the last minute surge. The film is reportedly coming close to blockbuster Pathaan openings in a few Hindi market, reportedly.
The film opened to mixed reviews almost everywhere but as far as the box office openings go, it has clearly started off on a stellar note.
