Director Murugadoss films always welcomed positive response from critics and common audiences alike for the intelligent work he delivers. But presently he is in news for any positive reason but for allegations that he has copied the story of his super hit film from elsewhere.

One Anbu Rajasekhar had made a short film titled ‘Thaga bhoomi’ in 2012. He says that Murugadoss’ ‘Kaththi’s story line is copied from his short film. Hence he filed a petition in Tanjovore Court making allegations on the director, hero Vijay and a few others.
Tanjavore Court judge ordered to send summons to the hero, director, producers, cinematographer and executive producer. Anbe Rajasekhar also called a press meet to make his voice heard on the allegations he made on the popular director and team.
