They have been openly for the last few months and this might be peaking this May. Incidentally, both Nani and Vijay are arriving at the box office in the month of May, and the ground is being prepared for the same.
Considering the confrontation that has been happening over who is the bigger hero amongst these two, a lot of social media narrative and trickery could be happening coming month.

The month will start with the release of Nani’s HIT 3 on May 1 and it will end with Vijay Deverakonda’s Kongdom on May 30.
Right from the box office numbers, to the pan India theatrical returns, every aspect of these two films will come under the radar. There is going to be a lot of discussion about the box office prospects of Vijay and Nani with regard to these two films.

In terms of current form, Nani has been ahead. But again, Vijay still has this consistent following amongst the younger generation which is his USP.
There is a long lingering doubt about what is the true potential of Vijay if he delivers a “winning film”. If this box can be ticked by Kingdom, then we could be in for a mega treat at the ticket counters.
