Humongous, Bigger Than Baahubali 2 First Week For RRR

RRR has shattered the existing opening week record in Telugu cinema. The Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer has collected a massive number in its first week, bettering the previous best Baahubali 2 by a huge margin. Check out the details below.

Baahubali 2 has collected close to 118 Cr in Telugu states in its first week. It was a massive record in its time that hasn’t been crossed until now. After nearly five years, it is again another Rajamouli film, RRR, which is surpassing Baahubali 2.

RRR, in its opening week, has collected close to 187 Cr. As one can see, it is a great margin between the two first week records. However, the number includes GST Returns, and the actual total would be a little less, around 170 Cr. Even at that number, the difference is massive between the two.

Baahubali 2, in its entire run, has collected close to 200 Cr from the Telugu states. RRR is expected to cross it by the end of the weekend itself. Where it will end depends solely on how long it can sustain.

Nizam will be in profit soon among the various territories if it isn’t already. A few more are expected to join by the end of the second weekend.
