Dhurandhar 2 US BO Mayhem: Highest Tickets Sold Ever?

Dhurandhar 2 US Box Office

Dhurandhar: The Revenge is already creating waves at the United States box office even before its release. The film has crossed the $1 million mark in advance sales in the US, a milestone that only Pathaan, Jawan, and Animal had managed to reach previously. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has reached this mark nearly twelve days before its release, making it even more incredible.

If the current trend continues, the film is expected to cross $2 million in pre-sales and could even approach $3 million before its premiere shows begin.

Among the biggest pre-sales records for Indian films in the United States are:

Baahubali 2 – around $4.5 million including premieres and first three days

RRR – around $4.25 million including premieres and first three days

Kalki 2898 AD – over $4 million including premieres and first four days

While Dhurandhar: The Revenge may or may not match those films in terms of total revenue due to lower ticket pricing, it could potentially break records in terms of tickets sold and total footfalls. One reason for this difference is that many South Indian films hold premiere shows with ticket prices two to three times higher than Bollywood films.

Another interesting trend is the support the film is receiving from the South Indian diaspora. Locations in Texas with strong Telugu and Tamil communities are among the top performing markets, alongside traditional Hindi film hubs like New York, New Jersey, California, and Chicago.

If the momentum continues over the weekend, Dhurandhar: The Revenge could potentially cross $10 million in the US during its extended four day opening weekend.
