
That was history. After the bifurcation cine observers foresaw that the focus of the Telugu films would shift from Hyderabad to Andhra. In many of the recently released films like ‘Pilla Nuvvuleni Jeevitham’, ‘Rowdy Fellow’, ‘Joru’, Rough’ and ‘Current Teega’; the shift from Hyderabad to Andhra is obvious. These films have very clear Andhra back drop either in the form of locales and also the main characters hailing from one of Andhra regions.
Though the stories of these films aren’t written keeping the locales in mind, this coincidence is speaking volumes on the shift of the focus from TS to Andhra. Especially locales of Vishakhapatnam and Vizianagaram are seen more in Telugu films recently. The reason behind might be because many film makers and producers hail from Andhra region. Coming to artists and other technicians, this shift isn’t going to effect their work anyway.
