‘I cried when I had flops’

In the middle of 1980’s, senior actor Srikanth had been riding high on success with success rate of his films being big than the flops. But he never achieved that stardom and being a star hero status has alluded him big time.

After his golden period, he had back to back failures. Srikanth says he used to cry for his failures but never allowed his family to understand that he is crying for his flops. However, his wife Ooha had been an actress and hence knows the ups and downs involved in the film industry.

In the span of 25 years, Srikanth did 120 films and most of them are family movies. Srikanth observes that he didn’t much of commercial movies and hence he couldn’t be a star in spite of the success he achieved back in 80’s and 90’s.
