The movie is running successfully in theaters, bringing relief for the industry and the trade.
We had a discussion with the director about the parts that worked and those that did not.

Sailesh refused to accept that the Villain Characterization is weak in the film and also said the public would not have resonated so much with the film had there been flaws in the second half.
He also said it is not correct to say the Heroine Track is not necessary. “It brings the much-needed relief in between intense proceedings. I can confidently say that as a filmmaker,” he said.

He also said that the second half is not inspired by Squid Games but it is of the same genre.
We also discussed the emotional block involving a Baby and the action sequence at the end of the film that is supposed to be the heart of the movie.
Sailesh Kolanu also had a disagreement with the critics, saying that they are being unnecessarily too harsh towards his films.
“Even the reviews are not up to the mark for HIT 1. Now, the same people are saying it is one of the best thrillers in Tollywood. The audience likes it. I do not know how to please the reviewers. Audience is thinking differently while Reviewers are on the other side,” he opined.
