Ilayaraja’s Daughter Passed Away in Sri Lanka

Legendary music director Ilaiyaraaja’s daughter, Bhavatharini, has passed away.

She died in Sri Lanka this evening while receiving treatment for cancer. Bhavatharini, a national award winner, was 47 years old. She also composed music for a few films, with her last film being in 2019.

She has two brothers, Karthik Raja and Yuvan Shankar Raja, who are both music composers as well.
