Inspector suspended for comments on ‘underwear’ !

A Mumbai Police Inspector of Maharashtra Housing Board Police Station, Anil Avhad was suspended following his insensitive comments on a rape victim’s underwear. According to official sources, a lady approached to complain about a man who promised to marry her but refused after being intimate.

Avhad reportedly passed lewd comments about the victim’s underwear and even kept her inside the police station making her uncomfortable. According to the victim, he reportedly also stalked her.

Following his indecent behaviour to citizens, Mumbai Police Commissioner quickly reacted on the complaint and suspended him immediately and an internal inquiry is ordered in to the issue.
