Interesting release strategy for new Ajith film

In an interesting move the makers of new Ajith movie Yennai Arindhaal have decided to not have any midnight or fans show screenings for the movie all over. They have fixed a time and the shows worldwide would commence only from then.

Usually with big and highly anticipated Tamil films, like Yennai Arindhaal, there are many midnight shows planned with fans being actively involved. However this time such shows have been cancelled as the makers want everyone to watch the film at the same time and come out with one talk unanimously. They don’t want people to go with any kind of talk in mind from previous shows. All the shows are planned to commence from 5 AM.

We have to see how this strategy works for the film. Gautam Menon films usually begin with divide talk and then stabilize, will Yennai Arindhaal be any different? The film hits theatres worldwide on February 5.
