Tollywood is going through a very bad phase this year; except for a few films, none have worked so far. Nani’s Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is the next significant release, and Nani has been promoting the film in Chennai, with plans to promote it in Malayalam and Hindi markets as well.
While Nani’s efforts to reach non-Telugu audiences are highly commendable, the bigger question is whether a film like Saripodhaa Sanivaaram will excite those audiences.

The general belief is that a film needs a different scale, an epic experience, or some sort of shock value to grab the attention of non-Telugu audiences.
However, Nani’s belief seems to be different. He wants to familiarize himself with non-Telugu audiences, and he has been employing this strategy since Dasara.

Since it’s a long-term process, we’ll only know the results in the future, but for now, Nani should be appreciated for his efforts.
