Let’s just put it straight upfront, has Jr NTR reached the absolute rock bottom of his career right at the very moment and is it high time that he delivered a massive success? Or do you think this is just a low phase but nowhere near that rock bottom some of his contemporaries, including Tarak has seen in the past, to reach a must and should deliver situation right now?
If we rewind a little bit, the star took a little break post Kantri and returned with a bang in 2010 delivering twin success in the form of Adurs and Brindavanam. It is post these twin successes that the star has seen struggle and has not got the big massive success expected of him.
If one looks further closely even in this phase the star has had the best combinations at his disposal like films with Boyapati Sreenu, Surender Reddy, Srinu Vytla and Harish Shankar right after their career’s biggest success. It therefore enabled the actor to put out respectable totals even with disappointing talks. On the other hand there is a segment that feels the disappointment in first place was due to the high expectations these combinations generated as the director’s were coming off their career’s biggest success.
Now with Temper, both those scenarios are nullified with Puri Jagannadh as director. Still the expectations have risen thanks to the director’s fresh presentation. However fans too are cautious this time around and are keeping calm even though there is a lot to be excited about. Will this controlled expectations work in star’s favor? And back to the same question that we started with, is the star in such desperate position to deliver? Will it be enough if fans are satisfied with the star as that hasn’t happened wholeheartedly recently?
