Is Prabhas the Most Non Serious Superstar?

Prabhas is one of the biggest names in Indian cinema and the fact that he has two 1000 crore films indicates the same. However, the kind of lineup Prabhas had and he currently has shows that he is perhaps the most non serious superstar in Indian cinema.

After epic Baahubali, Prabhas worked with one-film old Sujeeth, followed by another one-timer Radha Krishna. Adipurush with Om Raut was another blunder.

However, he luckily took a good turn with Prashanth Neel and Nag Ashwin. They delivered hits for him at the right time.

Again, Prabhas is back to doing films with the likes of Maruthi and Hanu Raghavapudi.

Usually, in the case of superstars, they tend to work with the elite league of filmmakers who have enough exposure to make it big in the pan-Indian belt.

But if we look at Prabhas, he has been setting up the most random of projects with non-mainstream directors.

Even now, there are social media reports that Prabhas is to work with Prasanth Varma of Hanuman fame and again, this is a very random development. This isn’t what Prabhas’s fans have been hoping for or waiting for.

And again, there is the film with Vanga – Spirit which is the only good thing about Prabhas’s line up. But, this film is also in the midst of uncertainty with other films that are not entirely comprehensive. The lack of tendency to work with elite filmmakers is strange in the case of Prabhas.
