Is Salaar Part 2 A Greedy Idea?

Prashant Neel is all geared up for the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster KGF, KGF Chapter 2, starring Yash. Right after the release of KGF 2, Prashant will straight away head to the shooting for Prabhas’ Salaar, which is already 30% complete, and the remaining portions will be completed by the end of this year. Salaar is getting ready for a Summer 2023 release.

There have been a lot of speculations about Salaar in the media and also among the fans. Many portals revealed that the director is planning to make Salaar into a two-part franchise.

But in a recent interview, Prashant Neel refuted the development for now. He, however, didn’t completely rule out the possibility of turning it into a franchise going forward.

Prashant said that Salaar is not something that they are planning as Part 1 and 2 at this point in time. Just to encash on the franchise craze like Baahubali, KGF, and Pushpa, he doesn’t want to burden and dilute Salaar. Salaar’s story will be completed in one part. There won’t be a sequel unless something extraordinary comes up in his mind.
