Ram Charan scored several hits in his career, but there’s one film that showcased what a capable actor he is. That is Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar. Rangasthalam went on to become a non-Baahubali industry hit when it released, and it was the first 100 Crore grossing film for Ram Charan.
Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of Rangasthalam, have now announced that the film would be releasing in Tamil on April 30th and released the Tamil version trailer of the film along with the announcement. Understandably, Ram Charan’s fans are upset with the move, given that Rangasthalam released way back in 2018, and that it is now too late to release the film. On the other hand, the trailer of the film is also quite disappointing, with the dubbing not up to the mark, and the trailer not giving the film the feel of a top-tier film.
Moreover, fans are disappointed in the fact that the makers of the film have decided to release the film during the Coronavirus pandemic, especially when the second wave is wreaking havoc across the country once again. Releasing the film now, after 3 years of its initial release, and then releasing it during a pandemic have all upset fans greatly.
Rangasthalam marked a career turning point for Ram Charan and established to the fans that Sukumar is capable of more than just stylish films. It’s been a milestone film for all those involved, and the makers could have indeed chosen a better time to release the Tamil version.
