It’s Not ‘Arjun Reddy’, No Comparisons Please

The trailer of ‘RX 100’ has set the right expectations on the movie and the overall rawness in the subject has made the audiences talk about it. The director of the movie Ajay Bhupathi is making his directorial debut with this movie in which he is working with a newcomer Karthikeya.

Responding on the comparison with Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Arjun Reddy’, the new director revealed that he narrated this story to Vijay Deverakonda even before his ‘Pelli Choopulu’. Later, he didn’t go back to Vijay but chose to work with a newcomer and hence, chose Karthikeya to play the lead role.

That’s why the director doesn’t want ‘RX 100’ to be compared and tagged as ‘Arjun Reddy 2’ for its rawness as he came up with this story way before the trend-setter movie with a bold concept. Ajay Bhupathi agrees that ‘Arjun Reddy’ is a different movie but no comparisons with his movie. The confidence of the filmmaker seems to be making him use that tone. Let’s wait and see how the new director makes space for himself in Tollywood.
