Jabardast Jabardasti: First Prabhas & Now Pawan

One cannot deny that ‘Jabardast’, the comdey show on ETV is one of the most popular shows on television with highest TRPs. Initially the show concentrated on pure comedy and tried to bring hilarious real life situations. But later, as the concept ideas have become monotonous, slowly the small time comedians started using double meanning cheap content in the name of comedy.

In one of the episodes, there had been a parody on Prabhas. Naturally this spoof on the actor didn’t go well with Prabhas’ fans. The participants who enacted the spoof had to apologise to Prabhas’ fans to save themselves from the ire of the fans. Latest, in one of the upcoming episodes a spoof on Pawan Kalyan’s Pawanism, launch of his Jana Sena Party and the huge public meeting he had addressed had been shot.

The promos of this episode were also telecasted on ETV. These promos made their way to internet. These satirical promos naturally irked Pawan’s fans and they posted comments against using Pawan’s name in a satirical way. With this, it is learnt that the program heads had a second thought on airing the programme. There is every chance that Pawan’s fans would attack the makers of this programme.

Finally, the team of ‘Jabardast’ had decided against airing the spoof on Pawan Kalyan. Whatever, it is evident that the program producers didn’t want to mess up with Pawan Kalyan’s fans. Hope in future, ‘Jabardast’ episodes bank on pure comedy instead of spoofs and cheap tidbits.
