To be compared to ‘Baahubali’ is a huge honor these days after the Rajamouli’s epic drama created history across the country breaking and making records. Jagapathi Babu says that his upcoming film ‘Vijayaditya’ is compared to ‘Baahubali’.

JB says that this kind of comparison brings him pride to be working in the film. In this Kannada film, JB is playing the negative character, while Kannada hero Dhananjaya is playing the protagonist. This is Jagapathi’s 3rd Kannada film after ‘Bachchan’ and ‘Jaguar.
Not only Jagapathi Babu, in the past there had been reports that the heroine of the film Parul Yadav too compared the film to ‘Baahubali’ and said that it would be even better. Though that seems to be sheer over-confidence, this comparison has been useful for the film’s publicity.
