All the while, there were reports that superstar Rajinikanth’s comeback box office blockbuster Jaiker would be made available for streaming on Netflix later.
But the latest developments have confirmed that the film has sealed not Netflix but Amazon Prime Video as its official OTT streaming partner.
The latest we hear is that Jailer will be made available for streaming on Amazon Prime from the 7th of this month.
The film will stream for all Amazon users from the mentioned date. The same was publicised by the OTT giant a short while ago.
Incidentally, the makers of Jailer, Sun Pictures were so pleased with the success of the film that they gifted a BMW X7 to Rajinikanth and a Porsche car to the director Nelson.
They also delivered a super valiantly gift to Anirudh. They’re on a gifting spree now.
Jailer is a commercial potboiler with a hint of dark comedy and it features Rajini, Ramyakrishnan, and others in the lead roles.
