Join Me in Showing Middle Finger – Vijay Deverakonda

Vijay Deverakonda’s angst against the pirates who released the pirated version of ‘Taxiwaala‘ is quite justified when he appealed to the audiences to watch the movie and prove that they had made a good movie. Speaking at the pre-release event, Vijay Deverakonda gave a befitting response to the pirates.

He said, “I will show my middle finger to the pirates. Join me in showing the middle finger.” This was for the pirates who leaked the unedited version that was more than 3 hours and 40 minutes long. He mocked those people who watched the movie without any Computer Graphics, proper music and even wrote off the movie based on the reviews that came after the leakage.

One can understand how much hard work must have gone into the filmmaking process that took almost two years. As Vijay Deverakonda said, ‘Taxiwaala’ is the debut movie for many along with the director Rahul Sankrityan, writer Sai Kumar Reddy and heroine Priyanka Jawalkar and when the full movie was leaked online, their hearts must have skipped a beat. Hope, their dreams be fulfilled.
