NTR Enjoying It For 1st Time

While there are no doubts about NTR’s mass pull at the box office, there was one shortcoming with regard to the long run. But luckily for him, this has been addressed with Devara.

Incidentally, Devara has become the first film to collect Rs 1+ crore share in the Telugu states for 18 consecutive days. Previously, the record was with RRR which collected 1+ crore share for 17 consecutive days.

What Devara has essentially done is the film has carved a superb long run which is being made possible through the family audience, who haven’t traditionally backed NTR.

Aravinda Sametha, with its soft tone and emotional touch, is believed to have made some difference to the family audience’s perception of NTR. The immediate fruits are now being reaped with Devara, it appears.

Despite having just a sufficient enough product and not necessarily a perfectly rounded one, NTR being able to achieve the long run is the changeover he needed. He has made it possible with Devara now.
