The film industry is a rather unforgiving place as only success and market dictate terms here. We usually see heroes lining up films only with in-form directors who have good prospects.

But in the case of Jr NTR, he appears to be becoming the new comeback hero of Tollywood. Well, NTR himself isn’t the man giving the comebacks, but instead he is giving his directors a solid comeback.
Earlier, NTR delivered Jai Lava Kusa with Bobby after the latter scored a disaster with his previous film Sardaar Gabbar Singh.

This was followed by Aravinda Sametha with Trivikram who was fresh off the wounds of Agnyathavasi. This film was a new lifeline for Trivikram in many ways as he took a serious approach that worked big time. Trivikram regained lost sheen again.
Now, Tarak trusted Koratala Siva after Acharya and that is how Devara happened. While the reviews haven’t entirely been positive for Devara, the film is going bonkers at the box office and this is much needed for Koratala after the scars left by Acharya.

This might not be the sharpest work from Koratala, but all that matters is the box office numbers and Devara is scoring heavily on this front. This is what Koratala needs to revive after Acharya.
It is becoming a clear pattern where NTR is giving struggling directors much needed box office revival immediately after they delivered disasters earlier.
