NTR Takes Middle Path Between TDP & YCP Yet Again

Young Tiger NTR made a statement about the Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Government’s move to change the name of NTR Health University. NTR who has been away from Politics for a while is forced to respond on issues when it pertains to the Nandamuri family.

But he is ensuring that he strikes a balance by not hurting TDP supporters as well as the YSR Congress government. The last time he spoke about politics is when YSR Congress leaders made foul comments on NTR’s daughter and Chandrababu’s wife, Bhuvaneshwari.

Back then, NTR gave a video statement condemning personal statements and character assassination. The Young Tiger ensured that he did not take the name of Bhuvaneshwari or the name of YSR Congress and made a generic statement.

He took the same route at NTR Health University as well. Praising both YSR and NTR, he gave a Press statement softly condemning the attempt and at the same time, ensured that he did not hurt those in power probably he thought it is needless for him.

On both occasions, he tried to satisfy the expectations of the TDP cadre and NTR supporters and at the same time, ensured that he did not hurt the government known for its vendetta politics.

While some people may not like this middle-ground attitude, for someone like NTR who has no immediate political ambitions, that stance is justified, the actors supporters say.

It is clear that NTR cares about Nandamuri’s legacy but does not share the political commitments of TDP in its current form.

But then, TDP and NTR supporters will find it very hard to accept the fact that NTR equated both YSR and NTR.
