Kajal didn’t avoid Tollywood for money

Reacting to rumours that she stayed away from Tollywood as producers couldn’t afford her, Kajal Agarwal rubbished all such rumors and added that she stayed away because she didn’t find any exciting project. She said that she’s been an actress for nine years and she feels it’s time for her to get choosy and only do good films. She also clarified that she didn’t raise her fee to irk producers in Telugu filmdom.

Kajal, who took two months off for her sister’s wedding, said she currently has one Hindi project and five southern films in her kitty. She said that she will always give more preference to south films because the audience here love her more than anyone else. She also said that she’s extremely happy with the success of Yevadu. Apparently, she was offered Shruti Haasan’s role in the film, but due to lack of dates, she agreed to do a cameo because she wanted to be associated with the film.

Kajal said that marriage is not on her mind currently as she is extremely busy with her career and she’s enjoying her work. But she will eventually get married she confirmed and added that it may happen in about three years from now.
