Now, director Nag Ashwin has promised that Kalki 2 will put Bhairava in the spotlight, go deeper into his story and his connection to Karna.

In a recent press meet, Ashwin said the first film laid the foundation for the epic story. With that foundation in place, the sequel will now focus on Bhairava and Karna, making their journey the heart of the story.
The revelation that Bhairava is Karna’s reincarnation adds a new layer of excitement, hints at a battle between fate and free will.

Karna’s story in Mahabharata is one of tragedy, betrayal and resilience. If Kalki 2 explores Bhairava’s past life, it could add an emotional depth that was only hinted in the first film.

If Nag Ashwin weaves mythology, sci-fi and emotion well, this could be Prabhas’ best role yet. Fans have a lot to look forward to!
