Vijay Deverakonda

Made on a budget of Rs 600 crore, Kalki 2898 AD is the most expensive film in India to date. Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, this Prabhas-starrer made its grand theatrical debut today to a roaring response at the box office.

The film features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Vijay Deverakonda plays a cameo as Arjuna from Mahabharatha mythology, but his portrayal and dialogue delivery have been widely targeted on social media.

Nag Ashwin and Vijay Deverakonda were friends even before Yevade Subramanyam happened, and VD probably agreed to do the role as a gesture of their friendship. It’s unfair to spread negativity without understanding the context.
